HOLY SUNDAY.– The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, has reduced his exposure in public activities since the Christmas festivities and during the first days of 2025.

The president’s pace had already slowed during the Christmas holidays, after he traveled with his family to the United States to attend to personal commitments.
During the first days of 2025, Abinader has only participated in one activity outside the country. This during the inauguration of the governor of Puerto Rico Jennifer González Colón.
Likewise, the President’s Press Directorate has not shared the ruler’s agenda in recent days.
For this week Abinader plans to lead the activity where the Venezuelan opposition leader will be received at the National Palace Edmundo González Urrutiawho will be accompanied by several former leaders.
