Los Angeles, California.- The president Louis Abinader He met this Thursday with the Vice President of the United States, Kamalah Harris, for almost two hours, as part of the agenda that he develops in the Summit of the Americasas reported by the Presidency in a statement.
The meeting was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and is part of the activities of the international conclave, with the participation of other heads of state and government from other Caribbean countries.
The Presidency reported that after the meeting with the US Vice President, the Dominican president participated in the opening Plenary Session in the Plenary Hall of Leaders of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

According to the statement, the Dominican leader’s agenda at the Summit of the Americas this Thursday also included a meeting with Ariel Henry, Prime Minister of Haiti, with whom he spoke for about an hour, and others with business executives, including Luiz Vasconcelos. , president of Fedex Express Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as directors of the Motion Picture Association (MPA).
President Abinader, who is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Álvarez, traveled to that city in the United States last Tuesday. His intervention is scheduled for this Friday.
Entrepreneurs interested in investing throughout Latin America are present at this Summit and President Abinader will arrange for them to do so in the Dominican Republic to continue with his policy of job creation and economic recovery.
Abinader also has scheduled meetings with several Latin American leaders in search of strengthening international relations and commercial exchange.
On Wednesday night, Abinader exchanged protocol greetings at the opening of the Summit with his counterpart from the United States, Joe Biden, who was accompanied by his wife, First Lady Jill Biden.
