Santo Domingo.– President Luis Abinader issued decree number 616-22 by which he declares the implementation of the National School Mobility System in the Dominican Republic to be of high national interest, as a collective solution for the transportation of girls and boys to and from schools.
Through the provision, the Ministry of Education (MINERD) is instructed to urgently carry out the processes of purchases and contracting of goods and services that will be used in the implementation of the first National School Mobility System.
The decree specifies that the contracting procedures must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic and current regulations on public contracting.
