Santo Domingo.-The president Luis Abinader inaugurated this Saturday the Comprehensive Care Center for Early Childhood (Caipi), the Nursing Home and delivered an apartment project in Monción, Santiago Rodríguez.
The president also visited the facilities of the Casabe Industry, participated in the inauguration of the new Kola Real plant of the San Miguel Industry and presided over the delivery of low-income mother teams.
The president assured that the government’s social programs seek to improve the quality of life of Dominicans.
He asked the population to become promoters of these programs so that anyone knows where to go for the government to help them.
He spoke in these terms during the supervision of the day of Social Inclusion in Monción, of the General Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency, directed by Roberto Ángel Salcedo.

The event took place at the Juan Pablo Duarte Educational Center, in Monción.
The head of state said that they seek to unify in a single point all the social services of the Government, so that the population can know which government agency attends to any need or requirement that citizens have.

President Abinader announced that he will continue to promote comprehensive care for early childhood, through the National Institute for Comprehensive Care for Early Childhood (Inaipi), to develop early education in the country.
The president made the announcement while leading the inauguration ceremony of the Monción Early Childhood Comprehensive Care Center (Caipi), Santiago Rodríguez, as part of the plan to expand the services developed by the entity.
He said that the Government continues to reinforce education for boys and girls from 3 to 5 years of age, strengthening the programs aimed at this age range that are implemented both by Inaipi and by Minerd.
“I can tell you that when we can have the largest number of boys and girls in initial education, at least from the age of three, education will really begin to change in the Dominican Republic,” he specified.
At the opening ceremony, President Abinader was accompanied by Harolin Almonte, Deputy Director of Inaipi, representing Besaida Manola Santana de Báez, Executive Director of the entity; Deligne Ascension, Minister of Public Works; Igor Rodríguez, Administrative Vice Minister of the Presidency; Ivelis del Carmen Almonte and Antonio Marte, governor and senator of Santiago Rodríguez, respectively.
Harolin Almonte said that 250 infants receive comprehensive quality care under the Inaipi model.
“In this government administration, early childhood won, childhood won, because we have a president who, from the beginning of his administration, has made it very clear that the only way to guarantee a better country is by investing in those who represent our future,” he said. .
Likewise, Ascensión highlighted that research carried out has shown that investment in children is the one that guarantees the greatest return.

In the Caipi Monción, it will offer comprehensive care to 250 newly admitted boys and girls aged 0 to 5, residing in seven neighborhoods of that municipality, such as: El Cerro, Plan Sierra, El Cepillo, Barrio Nuevo, Urbanización Peralta, El Mamoncito and Cañada Grande.
