Santo Domingo East. – The government of President Luis Abinader delivered this Saturday 560 new property titles in Santo Domingo Este and left the Emmanuel High School in Los Jardines, Nuevo Amanecer sector, in which an investment of RD$79,622,581.76 was made.
When leading the act, the president once again expressed his pride in this government work that on this occasion has a positive impact on more than 2,200 people in Los Mina, Los Mameyes, Maquiteria and Los Frailes.
In the same way, he called on them to take care of their titles and be “promoters of this program so that it can change the life of every Dominican who has a property and who is subject to titling.”
Among the beneficiaries of this Saturday, Antonio Núñez, Felicia Hidalgo, Ana Josefa López, Inés Durán, Amado Bonilla, Máximo Acevedo, Katy Feliz, Gregoria Camacho, José Bisonó and Enemencio Suero received their titles from the President.
When speaking, Mérido Torres, director of the State Land Titling Executing Technical Unit (UTECT), added that by 2023, it is planned to deliver thousands more titles in the eastern zone.

“We are working in the sectors of Villa Duarte, Calero, Simónico, Patria Mella, Los Mina, La Ureña, El Almirante, Villa Liberación, El Tamarindo, Cancino Adentro, Hainamosa, San Luis, Los Frailes, Maquiteria, Villa Carmen…. this management is the only one that has been concerned with executing titling projects throughout the history of Santo Domingo Este”.
The issuance of these 560 titles, assumed by the Dominican government, saved the beneficiaries a total of RD$44,800,000.00.
Later, President Abinader inaugurated the Emmanuel High School in Los Jardines, Nuevo Amanecer sector, in which an investment of RD$79,622,581.76 was made and provided that the sports facilities of the educational centers are open to the community on weekends.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Education, Ángel Hernández, who during the ceremony recalled that education is the basis of the social and economic development of the peoples and for this reason the current administration is focused on ensuring that the Educational System works well so that it fulfills that mission. .
The educational infrastructure consists of 23 classrooms, computer science and science laboratories, library, multipurpose room, basketball and volleyball courts, kitchen and dining room to serve 800 children and adolescents in the academic modality of the extended session.
When speaking, the director of the center, Marcelina García Suero, said that the new campus will enable more students from the sector and nearby areas to receive the bread of education at the secondary level.
On behalf of the students, Yendry Lara, from the first grade of the upper level, thanked her for seeing a 10-year wish come true and expressed the commitment of the students to value and defend the center so that it lasts for the next generations.
