Abinader inaugura nuevas obras en el país

Santo Domingo Province.- President Luis Abinader inaugurated this Sunday new works in the National District and the Santo Domingo province that included apartments, paving of streets, a building, a sports roof and the first shovel for the construction of the Higher Police Institute.

On Saturday in La Vega, the president carried out several activities that included the inauguration of the Elena Mejía Amezquita Elementary School and the Parque Hostos Multipurpose Club.

The works delivered this Sunday by the Head of State will contribute to improving and changing the living conditions of thousands of families who will now have a decent roof over their heads, paved streets, equipped and spacious schools, as well as sports areas for young people to develop their athletic skills.

This Sunday, President Luis Abinader delivered 100 new apartments in the Mi Vivienda San Luis Plan, in Santo Domingo Este, to benefit the same number of families who now become owners of their homes.

With this new delivery, the Ministry of Housing and Construction has built a total of 8,307 new homes under the Mi Vivienda Plan in different districts of the Dominican Republic.

Abinader inaugurates new works in the country

This San Luis project involved an investment of RD$7,172 million, creating more than 5,400 direct and indirect jobs, which energizes this municipal district of Santo Domingo Este.

Remodeling of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) offices

Later, in the National District, with an investment of RD$115 million, President Luis Abinader delivered the remodeled offices of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC), carried out by the Ministry of Housing and Buildings.

The President of the Civil Aviation Board, José Marte Piantini, thanked President Abinader and highlighted that thanks to the president’s support, this administration reached a record in its air operations, with 438,836 entries and departures achieved.

“Today we inaugurated this new headquarters and with it we reiterate once again that President Luis Abinader has become the father of Dominican aviation,” said Marte Piantini.

Abinader inaugurates new works in the country

Hours later, the president inaugurated the Huellas del Siglo Sports Club in the Cristo Rey sector of the National District. This construction will benefit 550 young people, adolescents and children who practice basketball.

In addition, 100 young people who play volleyball and 400 people who attend the activities held at the Club for a total of 1,050 beneficiaries.

During the event, Angel de la Cruz, president of the Presidential Commission for Provincial Development, spoke; the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Alfredo Pacheco, offered words of thanks, while the mayor of the National District, Carolina Mejía, welcomed the attendees.

25 kilometers of paved La Caleta

The last work that the president inaugurated this Sunday was the first stage of 25 kilometers of asphalt in the municipal district of La Caleta, Boca Chica municipality.

In his speech, the Minister of Public Works, Deligne Ascención, said that other streets will be paved and that RD$300 million will soon be allocated for the paving of all the streets in the province of Santo Domingo.

The project offers mobility and transport options for pedestrians, cyclists, public and private transport and other users, in this case providing well-being, tranquillity, health and increasing added value in the area.
