Abinader inaugura Mercado Municipal de La Vega

La Vega. – President Luis Abinader inaugurated this Saturday the rebuilt La Vega Municipal Market, after it was destroyed by a fire on May 29, 2016, affecting hundreds of sellers of various agricultural, livestock and processed products.

Located in the center of the city, the reconstruction of its facilities was paralyzed for four years, being resumed in 2020 during the first government administration of President Abinader, who declared it as a priority.

Upon his arrival, the head of state took a tour of the work, the completion of which injects jobs and dynamism into the local economy and its investment exceeds 485 million pesos.
