SANTO DOMINGO.-The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, yesterday inaugurated two works in the Santo Domingo Norte municipality that included the Mamá Tingó Training Center, which will be made up of four higher education educational centers that will benefit more than 15 thousand people who will be able to training in different areas.
Said center, put into operation in a renovated building of the Office for the Reordering of Transportation (Opret) that was abandoned at the Mamá Tingó Metro station, had an investment of more than 15 million and will house, in addition to ITLA, an extension of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), the Intrant National School of Road Education (Enevial) and the Opret Railway Training and Training Center.
When delivering a speech, the president stressed that the Mamá Tingó Training Center will be of great benefit to the municipalities of Santo Domingo Norte, while stressing that in this government effort the institutions are made more efficient and that it also yields money.
Infrastructure
Yesterday afternoon, President Abinader went to the municipal district of La Victoria to deliver various infrastructure works that are distributed in La Victoria, San Felipe and Sabana Pérdida of said municipality.
One of the works that were delivered by the president was the traffic distributor in the community of La Victoria that connects with the Juan Bosch ring road.
The raised access road consisted of the construction of four ramps of 550 meters each, which include paving, the construction of sidewalks and curbs, drainage solutions, and special work on safety signaling and guidance for passers-by.
Also the works carried out in the asphalting of the streets of one of the sectors of Sabana Perdida, with an investment of 35 million pesos.
Households
The governor also headed the third stage of the ‘Mi Vivienda Hato Nuevo’ project, consisting of 100 new apartments, thus completing a total of 600 units awarded in that town.
The Government has made an investment of 3,337.9 million pesos in this project, benefiting more than 4,400 people.
This has positively impacted the local economy through the generation of more than 2,400 direct and indirect jobs.
With these new homes, Mived adds more than 2,000 units delivered throughout the national territory in just 2 years.

During his journey on Saturday through the San Juan province, President Abinader formally handed over 80 apartments to the same number of families in the Vista del Río II housing project.
