Santo Domingo Este. – The president Luis Abinader delivered this Friday 360 new apartments of the My Home Plan in Ciudad Real San Luisraising to 760 families who already have a safe home in this community. This new delivery reinforces the Government’s commitment to continue expanding access to decent homes and transform the quality of life of thousands of Dominicans throughout the country.
On a day full of emotion for hundreds of families who see a long-awaited dream come true, the president, accompanied by the Minister of Housing and Buildings, Carlos Bonilladelivered the new housing units, strengthening the mission of guaranteeing a safe roof for thousands of citizens.
During the event, Minister Carlos Bonilla highlighted that this progress of the project demonstrates that for President Abinader, housing is a national priority: “Each key delivered represents hope, future and a more dignified life for a Dominican family”.

The minister explained that the Ciudad Real San Luis residential complex embodies the Government’s vision of offering safe, planned spaces with access to essential services, thanks to a joint effort between the public and private sectors – including the Reserve Bank, the Comptroller’s Office, the Treasury and the Presidency – with an investment that exceeds 843 million pesos.
Bonilla specified that, once completed, this project will have more than 1,000 apartmentsdesigned to provide well-being, green areas, play areas and safe common spaces. He also stressed that these 360 new units are added to the more than 400 already delivered in previous stages, thus reaching a total of 760 benefited families in Saint Louis.
“Behind each home there are real stories of effort and improvement; this project, president, demonstrates that your vision of housing as a tool for equality and opportunities is becoming a reality today,” he stated.
For his part, the Project Manager of Constructora Bisonó, Brandon Paniagua, announced the start of the new Jacagua residential project, in Santiago, the first that the company will develop under the My Housing Plan in that province, with a total of 792 apartments.
He highlighted that this growth is possible thanks to the vision of President Abinader, who has placed social housing as a priority through subsidies, affordable financing and transparent processes.
Meanwhile, the senator Antonio Taveras He highlighted that this delivery not only represents a key, but also dignity for hundreds of families who today have access to safe housing, without the fear of evictions. He recalled that the right to a dwelling It is a constitutional mandate and that the country was dragging historical debt in this matter and congratulated President Abinader for his commitment to the most vulnerable families.

The apartments in this project have 2 and 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, balcony, laundry area, parking, children’s play areas and gazebo for community activities. Each space has been designed to promote coexistence, comfort and family development.
In addition, the residential is located in a strategic area, close to the El Almirante Municipal Hospitalpolice detachment, fire department, banks, supermarkets, public transportation, primary schools, a softball stadium and the Community Higher Technical Institute.
With these 360 new homes, the Government reaffirms its commitment to reducing the housing deficit and offering real opportunities to thousands of low- and medium-income families.
