The President of the Republic, Luis Abinaderemitted the night of this Tuesday the decree 121-23 and 122-23 that put into withdrawal of 978 members of the National Police by length of service. He also grants her a pension from the Dominican State.
They were put in condition withdrawal in the first decree for having reached the maximum time spent in the grade, by age or seniority in the service with promotion to the immediate superior rank and a Dominican State pension is granted to 58 members of the Police National.
Whereas, for having reached the maximum time of permanence in the grade, due to age or length of service, they were placed in withdrawal to the 172 members of the Police Nacional, who are also granted a pension from the Dominican State.
Payment of pensions will be made in accordance with the procedures established in Law no. 590-16, Organic of the Police National, July 15, 2016.
“These will be effective from the date on which the beneficiary formalizes his request for inclusion in the payroll of retirees and civil pensioners of the State before the General Directorate of Retirement and Pensions in charge of the State of the Ministry of Finance”, indicates the decree.
Meanwhile, in the decree 122-23, the president placed 734 members of the order entity with different ranks in the same position. First there is a group of 14, then 687, 20 and 27.
The General Directorate of Retirement and Pensions in charge of the State will have a period of three (3) months to make the payment of the pensions effective, counted from the date the interested party has processed his request for inclusion in the list of pensioners. The payment of the pension would be considered effective and entitled to retroactive payment after the expiration of said term.
