Abinader declares national mourning for the death of Bissié Romero

Preventive detention ordered for man who murdered his son and injured his mother in Sosúa

The president Luis Abinader issued the Decree no. 1 – 25 which declares of official duel the day January 8 of this year on the occasion of the death of Miguel Ángel Bissié Romero.

The Ministry of Defense to render the military honors to this prominent Dominican citizen and likewise, that the national flag must fly at half-mast on the designated day in military facilities and public buildings throughout the country.
