President Louis Abinader This Sunday he extended his congratulations to the re-elected president of France, Emmanuel Macron, after his victory in the elections of the European country.

“On behalf of the Government and the DR, we congratulate @EmmanuelMacron, re-elected President of France, taking a significant step to strengthen democracy in France, the European Union and globally, at such a critical time for Europe”wrote the leader on his Twitter account.

The head of state also expressed his «full back and collaboration» to the candidate of La República en Marcha (LREM), who obtained around 57.41% in the second electoral round in France.
