In the midst of the police reform promoted by the Government, President Luis Abinader yesterday headed the forty-fourth graduation of the academy of the order corps, in which 30 cadets were invested with the title of Bachelor of Police Sciences, thus becoming the first group that graduates from the beginning of the transformation process.
After the ceremony, the head of state assured that the cadets, who came out with the rank of second lieutenants, will join the new era of trained and trained officers.
“We are already starting with the new training and the new reform. What I can tell you is that the entire National Police, the entire commission that advised and that will continue to help in the implementation, are all united to gradually implement, as we have committed, in the reform of the Police. There is a total unity between the institution, between the recommendations and between the foreign consultancies, and you are going to gradually see many favorable changes for citizen security in the country, “he said.
The president took advantage of the moment to urge the new agents to work in favor of the country, after highlighting that the homeland and the people expect a lot from them. “Your integrity, they expect you to work efficiently, as do the vast majority of the members of the National Police and the Armed Forces, who act honestly, who risk their lives every day. For this reason, this is the example that they should follow ”, he pointed out.
During the ceremony, ten cadets graduated with academic awards with magna Cum Laude qualifications, led by Yasmer Arianna Alonzo de la Cruz, Maikol Alexander Severini Mejía, Ronald Lugo Sánchez, Railyn José Del Rosario Eusebio, Yariska Yamikeila Ortega, Yaraica Lineth Wally Davis, William Abad Burgos, Yohan Manuel Marque Pujols, Isamar Pichardo Marte and Ruth Esther Rodríguez Lugo.
