By participating in the launch of the digital platform 2.0 of the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santo Domingo, the president Louis Abinader announced yesterday that from September the program will be launched Zero Bureaucracy in all government institutions.
According to the head of state, this will allow job creation, facilities in public contracting processes, elimination of extortion and, therefore, greater transparency.
“The important thing is that the Government and the social sector are aligned on the same objectives,” said the official.
When weighing the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce, the head of state said that this entity puts its online services into operation, with the aim of streamlining the processes that will now be able to done in 24 hours or less and from anywhere in the world.
“Digitization, in addition to being synonymous with modernity, is really an example of optimization of resources and the proper functioning of the tools we have to take what we do further,” said Abinader.
The president maintained that this platform will allow State institutions, such as the General Directorate of Internal Taxes (DGII), Public Procurement (DGCP), the National Office of Industrial Property (Onapi) and the Superintendency of Banks (SB), to connect and have quick access to the information of registered companies”, specified the Head of State.
He also added that the 31 chambers of commerce in the rest of the country join this project, through the Fedecamaras digital program, with which the service presented today is strengthened.

Anniversary
The activity was carried out for the 175th anniversary of the entity.
In this context, Abinader stated that the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santo Domingo is one of the oldest trade and business institutions in Latin America and, of course, the oldest in the Dominican Republic.
He added that the organization is an old oak that has been accompanying the business community and the State, practically since the founding of the Republic, always in search of economic growth, sustainability and benefit for investors and the Dominican people.

Among the available online services are the registration of new companies, creation and renewal of Commercial Registrytransfer of address from another province, update of general company data, among other facilities.
