Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader received this Friday at the National Palace representatives of neighborhood associations of Greater Santo Domingo and the National District, whom he assured that the government will follow up on the demands raised in order of priority.
He leader By leading a meeting with 431 representatives of neighborhood associations and community leaders from the province of Santo Domingo and the National District, he spoke with them about the different problems and possible solutions for the benefit of all.
The head of state referred to the titling process for constituency 3 of the National District and said that the government is in a very advanced process of negotiation with land belonging to individuals and that almost 80% has already been signed to proceed with the delivery of titles to the inhabitants of this district.
In another order, the Minister of Housing and Buildings, Carlos Bonilla, made reference to the health city in district 3 of the National District and explained the different solutions that have been carried out in said work.
He announced that the Maternal and Child Hospital will soon be put into operation and delivered fully equipped.

At this meeting, the governor proposed to the community members to meet as a form of social service for all neighborhood associations to serve the health city.
At the event, the presidents of the neighborhood associations of the National District, Buenos Aires del Mirador, Carmen Bautista, presented their problems; from Santo Socorro, Miguelina Gonzalez Lara and from the Neighborhood Council, Cristian Pimentel Perez.
Also, from Santo Domingo Norte, from the Sabana Perdida Neighborhood Association Association, Ramon Gómez Rodriguez; from the neighborhood council of the Expansion Zone, Marcos Hernández and from the Association of Neighborhood Councils Jesus Christ Our Guide of Santo Domingo Este, German Rodríguez.
Among the requests made to the president, children’s stays, continuity of the asphalt of the different streets, renovation of ravines, wastewater treatment plant, construction of a cemetery and a market, completion of educational centers, delivery of water service with greater frequency and dispatch of INESPRE trucks.
Projects in execution of the CAASD
For his part, the director of the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewer Corporation (CAASD), Fellito Subervi, announced the projects carried out by the institution such as the reinforcement of the Yagüita, improvements in the Las 800 sector, water remuneration of the La Puya sector in Arroyo Hondo and in Agustina, reinforcement of water distribution networks.
Also, he announced the sewerage of Juan Marichal Street in the Los Ríos sector and explained that the renovation of the Juan Valdez creek is under tender, which will help finish the Los Ríos cycle.
Likewise, he indicated that they have worked on 3.2 of 5.4 kilometers of Guajimia and it is projected that the intervention of all the sugar canes of Greater Santo Domingo will be completed in August of next year.
Santo Domingo North
President Abinader announced that the expansion of the Francisco J. Peynado bridge is being designed, which connects the National District with Santo Domingo Norte. He also reported on the construction of the overpass at the intersection of Sabana Perdida and Charles de Gaulle.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz, detailed the different works that will be carried out in Greater Santo Domingo and the National District such as construction and reconstruction of multipurpose facilities.
