Abinader announces construction of greenhouses in Vallejuelo

San Juan.- President Luis Abinader announced this Saturday that the Government will develop in the municipality Vallejuelo of this province, a program for the installation of greenhouses to promote agricultural and onion production, an area that he defined as “the capital of onion production at the national level”, due to its specialization in the cultivation of this agricultural line.

He said with this greenhouse construction program, the Government’s objective is to turn Vallejuelo into one of the valleys with the highest agricultural production, not only in the country, but in the entire Caribbean region.

The president made the announcement while leading the third day of Social Inclusion “First You” in 2023, in this municipality, during which he ordered the delivery of aid and food, as well as medical and other assistance to more than three thousand people in conditions of vulnerability and extreme poverty.

It also ordered that the Government pay for the medical studies and aid corresponding to the adolescent Danyelli Montero, 15 years old, who suffers from paralysis and a kind of neuropathy to determine and even arrange for her trip abroad, if the case warrants it, and promised a job to his mother, Flor Montero.

The conference was held at the Anacaona Elementary School, in the La Colonia sector, in Vallejuelo, organized and developed by the Presidency of the Republic through the General Directorate of Special and Strategic Projects of the Presidency (Propeep), in charge of the Minister Neney Cabrera.

The Head of State highlighted the interest of the Government during his administration to improve the living conditions of the population that lives in conditions of vulnerability and extreme poverty in the country’s neighborhoods and communities.

He explained that in these days of Propeep, the Government unifies all the aid and social assistance programs that the State executes, such as those of the Social Cabinet of the Presidency, the State Economic Kitchens, Conape, Senasa, the National Health Service (SNS ), the Vocational Schools of the Armed Forces and the National Police, among others.

He urged attendees not only to learn about these programs and benefit from them, but also to promote them so that their family, friends and relatives also benefit.

He stressed that, in addition, they are directing efforts to obtain financing for small and medium-sized businesses, for late declarations and obtaining birth certificates before the Central Electoral Board (JCE), and training and efforts for the first job of young people.

«And for this reason, this program is called “You First”, because in this Government, You First, each one of you first, because the people first, because the problems of each one of you is our objective, to improve the quality of life. of the people here, of San Juan, and of the entire country,” said President Abinader.

In addition, the National Council for the Aged Person (Conape), the National Health Insurance (Senasa), the National Institute for Early Childhood Care (Inaipi) and the State Economic Kitchens.
Also the National Institute for Price Stabilization (Inespre), with its deliveries of basic basket items, and the Program for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Promipyme), to finance economic projects for micro and small merchants, Inaipi, among other government entities.
