President Louis Abinader On his trip to Bonao this Saturday, he stopped the caravan in which he was traveling to listen to the community members who greeted him on his way and wanted to express some concerns.
When approaching one of these groups, they expressed to the president the need for help to recover some vacant land that they previously occupied and where they were expelled by the past authorities.
Upon hearing this complaint, the president promised them that he would submit the case to an investigation and that he would send personnel from the Dominican Agrarian Institute (IAD) to investigate the case and find a solution.
“The interest of this government is to help the people who need it most. That is why we are going to study the situation,” he said.
The community members said they want to recover these lands again to cultivate them and plant different types of crops.
For two days, the head of state will exhaust a busy schedule in the provinces of La Vega and Bonao.
