Former President Leonel Fernández and Mayor Abel Martínez shared a pleasant meeting this Thursday during the celebration of the 246th anniversary of the Independence of the United States, in a hotel in the capital.
During the evening, politicians discussed various issues. And within the sharing, jokingly, both made warnings.
Through his Twitter account, the municipal official highlighted his admiration and respect for the leader of the Fuerza del Pueblo party, while narrating part of the conversation.
“I am pleased to meet the former president @LeonelFernandez, during the celebration of the 246th anniversary of the Independence of the United States. As a joke he told me – Be careful if they burn it with me, to which I replied – Be careful if it is you who burn it », posted Martínez Durán.
