Santo Domingo – Computed 75.48% of the polling stations, Abel Martinez maintains the advantage over Francisco Dominguez Brito with 60.68% of the votes.
Martinez obtained more than 200 thousand votes, for 60.68%, while Dominguez Brito, 20.64%.
The other candidates for the presidency for the PLD, Margarita Cedeño a 16.23; Maritza Hernández, 1.06% and Karen Ricardo 0.76%.
The results were announced at 9:36 pm.
It should be remembered that the PLD consultation held this October 16 with a view to the election of its presidential candidate is not binding or definitive with respect to the aspirations of the purple party. These must be channeled once the legal deadlines of the electoral calendar open.
The bulletins of the consultation of the PLD
The first bulletin was offered with a little more than 12% of the votes counted. In it, Martinez started with an advantage of 57.50% over Domínguez Brito with 22.07%, while Margarita Cedeño obtained 18.14, Maritza Hernández 1.13%, Karen Ricardo 0.74 and Luis de León 0.41.
In the second bulletin of the Organizing Commission of the Consultation on Applicants (Conap), Martínez expands his advantage of 59.71% over Domínguez Brito with 21.37%, while Margarita Cedeño obtained 16.70, Maritza Hernández 1.06%, Karen Ricardo 0.73% and Luis de León 0.43%, according to the second bulletin with 23.32% of the total votes counted.
While in the third bulletin, Martínez obtained 111,435 votes, for a percentage of 60.94%%, Domínguez Brito 37,277, for 20.39%, while Margarita Cedeño obtained 30,160, for 16.49%, Maritza Hernández 1,924 , for 1.05%, Karen Ricardo 1, 288, for 0.70% and Luis de León 774 votes, for 0.42%, with 38.73% of the total votes counted.
In the fourth Conap bulletin, Abel Martínez remained at the head of the votes with 60.70%, Domínguez Brito 20.47%, Margarita Cedeño obtained 16.63%, Maritza Hernández 1.06%, Karen Ricardo 0.72% and Luis de León 0.43%, with 59.99% of the total votes counted.
Already for the fifth bulletin, with 72.88% of the total votes counted, Abel Martínez won with 60.68% over Domínguez Brito with 20.73%, and Margarita Cedeño with 16.31%, Maritza Hernández 1.07%, Karen Ricardo 0.76 and Luis de León 0.44.
