Jarabacoa.- The presidential candidate for the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) Abel Martínez, during an unprecedented mass act in this municipality, swore in the campaign team of his presidential project, urging his supporters to continue working and assuming the commitment to remove the ruling party from the National Palace.
Speaking to those present, mostly young people and women, Abel said that his commitment is to get the country out of the setback to which the PRM has led it, in order to restore hope to the Dominican people, ensuring that the current government has one year left and ten months in power.
“We have the opportunity not only to restore hope to the Dominican people; We have the opportunity to strengthen development, to control delinquency, for youth to have opportunities and that is guaranteed by the PLD, the party founded by Professor Juan Bosch and the party for which I will be a candidate in 2024”, said the member of the Political Committee.
Martínez also assured that “the future of the country rests on our shoulders. Every time I think of farmers, I work harder; every time I see the youth who want to move forward without opportunities, they throw me into the streets with more energy; every time I see parents with the sadness of not being able to bring food to their children; Every time I see this government screwing up, improvising, mistreating the people, I work harder and I also feel grateful to God that he has placed me on the exact path and used me as an instrument to get the PRM out of the National Palace.”
Abel exhorted the sworn leaders to work together “with that strength that will give us a better future for all; that we can say that the Dominican Republic from 2024 there will be a different government that thinks of the people”.
The members of the Central Committee, Bolívar Marte, provincial president of the PLD and provincial coordinator Abel 24 in La Vega, deputy Edwin Mejía, coordinator of constituency #2 of the province, José Ant. Abreu (Joselito), municipal coordinator were present. , as well as Joselín Díaz, Buena Vista district director, Ambiorix Durán, Buena Vista district coordinator; Anyolino Fernández, Manabao district coordinator, in addition to council members Olmedo Valdez and Willian Sepúlveda and Freddy Paulino from the municipal leadership, among others.
