Salcedo. During a tour carried out in municipalities of the Hermanas Mirabal province, the presidential candidate of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Abel Martínez, expressed that the dignity and quality of life of people must be guaranteed in the country.
Martínez also stated that in order to talk about what he will do as President of the Republic, it is necessary, above all, to see what he has done as mayor in Santiago, supporting youth and families in the most vulnerable areas, promoting healthy recreation, making order and cleanliness prevail, which has allowed the development of that municipality, positively impacting the generation of new jobs and productivity.
“Inflation is fought by generating jobs; the government must become an ally of the entrepreneurs, help them and promote them so that later they can talk about tax measures and lead them to formalization. In Santiago, everyone who has a small business is our ally because it will generate money for the city, but for that, we always look for a way to help them move forward, so that instead of five employees, there are 20 and they can do grow your inventory. What we are doing from Santiago, we are going to do better as president of the Dominican Republic”, indicated Abel.
The presidential candidate assured that it is necessary to work closely with the people to recover the confidence of the population and for this, he reiterated the importance of the integration and work of the entire society to change the erratic course that the country is taking.
“Let’s knock on all the doors, because the way to win is to add and multiply. There are many people who will tell you that it is not political, but I tell you: you do not have to be political to join a project of renewal and hope; if you are interested in the security of the country not being as it is now, that there is fear and fear to go out; If you are interested in parents having the opportunity to feed their children, then you fit here, because you don’t have to be a politician to want the good of your country, for your children, for the next generations; it is enough that you are Dominican and that is what we want ”, he expressed.
The territorial meetings led by Abel Martínez, took place in Villa Tapia, Tenares and Salcedo.
This Sunday, the approaches of the PLD presidential candidate with the communities will move to the Montecristi province, where he has scheduled ten activities in Palo Verde, Villa Vásquez, Castañuelas and San Fernando de Montecristi, among others, in which he will exchange impressions with various sectors of the province, as well as with the leadership of the PLD.
