Santiago.- The Mayor’s Office held three Christmas dinners and gatherings yesterday in the neighborhoods of the municipality, chaired by the mayor Abel Martinezwhose purpose is to unite families from Santiago, share hugs and greetings during the Christmas festivities.
The agenda of activities began at five in the afternoon on Calle 1 of the Cambodia sector in the northern part of the city, where dozens of community members from the area tasted tasty ginger tea and a wonderful Christmas gathering, which brightened the atmosphere with music of the season
In a second meeting, the residents of Ensanche Libertad shared a tasty Christmas dinner, led by Nahiony Reyes, wife of Mayor Abel Martínez, who was received with overwhelming enthusiasm by hundreds of people who participated in the meeting.

The councilors Hatueyndi Rosario and Juan Gómez, the deputy Víctor Suarez and other officials of the council also participated.
The agenda of activities closed with the third meeting held in the community of Gurabo and coordinated by Ingrid Domínguez, there a ginger tea was served that was enjoyed by dozens of people who gathered to exchange Christmas greetings, just as it was conceived by the mayor Abel Martínez.
The Mayor’s Office of Santiago also held Christmas gatherings in the Olympic Village, in La Yagüita de El Ejido and in Los Ciruelitos, activities that were attended by Mayor Abel Martínez.
