Juan Afara, official national senator, stated for radio 1000 AM that Mario Abdo Benítez, president of the Republic, will decide this month whether to run for president of the National Republican Association (ANR).
At the same time, he stated that he would like to be the candidate of “Republican Force” for the next elections.
“I would like to work for the party. I made my candidacy available to my movement (“Republican Force”). I would like to be the candidate and even more so when on the other side the one with the intention of being president of the ANR is Horacio Cartes”, he expressed.
