Mario Abdo Benítez, President of the Republic, offered a few words to the press during the inauguration of 100 houses of the “Che Tapýi” Program, built by the National Government, through the MUVH with the cooperation of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
The conference took place in the city of Luque, in the Central department, on Friday morning.
“We are growing well, I think there will be a pleasant surprise, Arnoldo’s candidacy is growing too much, today according to the polls we are on the margins of a technical tie, a 90-day campaign against another six-year campaign already installed. I think it will be defined on election day. We are very satisfied with the growth, we knew it would be very difficult. We have a candidate who does not stop. It starts at 5 in the morning until 2 in the morning of the next day”, he expressed.
He maintained that they are seeing the fruits of the effort that has a great penetration within the national electorate and the Colorado electorate.
“We are arriving at the numbers within the margin of error. We have 20 more days and I think that if we continue with this growth we will arrive to win these elections. It will depend a lot on the mobilization and the structure of the ‘D’ day”, he concluded.
