Guasu Front senator Sixto Pereira gave credit to the percentages released by CELAG on the 90% rejection of Mario Abdo Benítez’s management. He stated that he should have been impeached long ago.
“Then it had started badly due to the issue of the Itaipu negotiation with Bolsonaro, president of Brazil. They saved him from impeachment because there was international pressure. That and then you also have to count all the shamelessness with which he handled himself during the pandemic. Now it is added to the entire economic crisis, mainly due to fuel,” Pereira said in contact with Radio La Unión.
He made reference to the percentages released by the CELAG survey, which detail that Abdo carries a disapproval of 83% in general terms and even higher levels of disapproval regarding his management of the economy (86%) and the fight against corruption (91%), according to a study carried out in 14 of the 17 departments.
