Through Decree No. 7164, the Executive Branch appointed Gladys Zunilda Borja Aveiro as the new executive secretary of the National Emergency Secretariat.
It will replace Miguel Kurita, who had been serving as the SEN’s dispatcher, after the dismissal of Minister Joaquín Roa.
It should be remembered that Joaquín Roa was dismissed earlier this year, after it became known that in 2018 he acquired a yacht valued at $400,000 from the company of the alleged drug trafficker Alberto Koube, who was awarded three SEN tenders.
As could be seen through social networks, Borja Aveiro is close to the political team of President Mario Abdo Benítez and one of his last positions was that of counselor at the Embassy of Paraguay in Chile.
The entrance Abdo appoints a new Minister of National Emergency was first published in diary TODAY.
