The lifeless body of a young Venezuelan mother identified as 17-year-old Roxana Burgos was found under the bed, in her residence located in the La Recoleta commune, north of Santiago de Chili.
The Investigative Police Chili (PDI) confirmed the discovery of the body on Monday afternoon.
The body of Roxana Burgos was found under the bed wrapped in several sheets, it showed signs of suffocation and sharp wounds, Chilean media reported.
According to the first information provided by the deputy head of the Metropolitan Homicide Brigade, Gabriel Alarcón, the victim had a wound on his neck, which would indicate the action of third parties, reported the Web and Twitter account of @CHVNoticias.
The main suspect in the murder is Roxana’s partner with whom she had a strong fight in which the man attacked her with a knife, but she was able to defend herself thanks to her boxing knowledge, some witnesses said.
Before the disappearance of the young woman, the neighbors and friends began to be alerted, since she had not appeared at her place of work to collect money that they owed her.
Upon perceiving the bad smell, the neighbors entered the residence and found the body of the young woman.
It transpires in the media that the young woman had two children, one in common with the alleged aggressor and that the couple had lived together for four months.
The Chilean police are working to find the whereabouts of Roxana’s partner, as well as their two children, who are also missing, reported meter.
