On Sunday morning they murdered a 22-year-old man who was wounded with a firearm in a violent incident that occurred in the Canarian town of 18 de Mayo.
The homicide occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning in the vicinity of Caraguatá streets, on the corner of Germany, within the Sectional 30 jurisdiction of the city of 18 de Mayo.
Once the Police learned of a complaint about the presence of a fallen man on public roads, agents mobilized to the site. Upon arrival, they confirmed what had been reported, seeing the young man wounded by multiple gunshot wounds. A few minutes later, the wounded man died on the spot.
According to the part of the Police Headquarters cannelloniThe deceased had two criminal records. The last of the criminal records was committed in June 2021, in the case of a theft.
The Police initiated the corresponding investigations into the case and in the first instance managed to arrest three people. Subsequently, two of the detainees were released, while the third, who had no criminal record, remained in custody.
The actions continued with the raid on people’s homes, where the authorities seized a shotgun “with a percussed cartridge inside,” explained the Headquarters. The primary hypothesis of the case suggests that this was the weapon with which the crime was committed. This Monday the statement of the detainee before the Prosecutor’s Office was scheduled.
