A new attack against the public force was recorded this Sunday, at a time when the uniformed personnel belonging to the Mobile Police Squadron of the National Police carried out patrols in the main park Tomás María Vergara, leaving an injured cash as a result.
After what happened, authorities advanced actions to return tranquility to the urban area. It is noteworthy that the public force in Tibú has been the target of several attacks during this year 2022such as harassment against the police station, launching cylinder bombs and this, the most recent, carried out in the midst of the civilian population.

Precisely, since the previous week the community has been preparing a March for peace that this will take place Monday, January 31, at nine in the morning in the main park, as far as the residents with white shirts are expected to arrive, asking the armed groups to stop the violent actions against the public force that is causing the displacement of families who live near the police station and several family groups that They live in rural areas.
