SANTIAGO.- A worker attacked his romantic partner with a hammer and after believing that he had killed her, he hanged himself from a tree at the back of the house in the Los Santos neighborhood.
The beaten lady was identified as Carmen Marte García, 40 years old and who is in a delicate condition receiving medical attention at a health center in this city.
While the aggressor-suicide was identified as “Guelo”.
Rodolfo Marte, the woman’s brother, reported that she was beaten by her partner while she was sleeping early last Monday.
