
A woman was arrested in Zulia state for his alleged connection with the disappearance of his 3-year-old sonidentified as Jhoandry Paz, who would have been sold at the Las Pulgas market, in the city of Maracaibo.
The minor remains missing to this daywhile security agencies maintain active search and investigation efforts to find his whereabouts.
Mother was handed over to authorities in San Francisco
The woman’s arrest occurred in the vicinity of her home, located in the Fuerza Bolivariana sector, San Francisco municipality, where, according to preliminary versions, relatives and neighbors decided to hand her over to officials of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc).
A scientific police commission went to the scene and took the woman to their offices to begin the corresponding investigations, according to local media reports.
Alleged sale for $100
People close to the family indicated that The child would have been seen for the last time in the Las Pulgas marketaccompanied by an unknown woman and man. Subsequently, all traces of the minor were lost.
According to testimonies collected in the area, The child’s mother would have received at least $100 in exchange for the minor. “They saw him with a brunette and another man, after that he disappeared. The mother sold him because they have seen her with more than 100 dollars in her hand,” said acquaintances of the case.
It was also learned that the child is one of several siblings who lived with their mother in precarious conditions, a situation that is part of the lines of investigation being handled by the authorities.
The search for the minor continues in Zulia
The security agencies of the state of Zulia continue to follow different leads related to the disappearance of the child.while relatives and authorities hope that the case will conclude with the prompt appearance of the minor, safe and sound.
The Cicpc has not offered, until now, further details about the progress of the investigation or the possible identification of the people who would have received the child.
