Havana/A 42 -year -old woman died Friday afternoon after receiving an electric shock caused by lightning, in what would be the fourth victim for this cause in less than a week on the island, official media reported on Saturday.
The event occurred in the town of Colón in the Cuban province of Matanzas when the victim was doing agricultural work, the local newspaper detailed on social networks Girón.
Last Sunday, three teenagers died and another was injured when being reached by lightning during a storm in the municipality of Manicaragua, in Villa Clara.
