A group of criminals killed a woman after they rammed her with their truck while being chased by the Police after they were surprised when they tried to steal a car.
The incident occurred this Saturday afternoon in the Montevideo neighborhood of La Blanqueada. In a group made up of three antisocials, they moved around in a stolen truck while trying to steal other vehicles in the area. At around 5:15 p.m., the agents detected how the criminals were trying to open a vehicle parked on Clemente Estable and Anzani streets, so they ordered his capture.
The officials met the thieves at the corner of Mariano Moreno and Luis Surraco streets and there they began their pursuit. When the truck was driving through Monte Caseros and Comandante Braga streets, it collided with a motorcycle on which a 31-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were traveling. Both, seriously injured, were transferred to a health center where, according to TelemundoA few minutes later, the death of the youngest person was confirmed.
At the scene of the crash, the police were able to apprehend the criminals. These are two 24-year-olds with criminal records (one robbery and the other robbery) and a 29-year-old man with four records for robbery and robbery.
