A union measure will paralyze line A of the subway and the Premetro for two hours

The subway union calls for the automation of the Premetro track changes.

Line A of the subway and the Premetro will be affected this Tuesday by a two hour break that will be carried out by the “metrodelegados”.

The protest was described by union delegates as a “measure of self-defense against the lack of response from Emova on the operational security situation in the Premetro.”

In the case of the Premetro, the protest will affect the service between 8 and 10 p.m.while heline A will be interrupted from 22 to 24announced the Union Association of Subway and Premetero Workers (AGTSyP) through a press release.

“Despite our claims, the company still does not comply with the signed agreement in September 2021, according to which they committed to complete the automation of the Premetro track changes within 180 days,” says the text.

And he adds: “With this deadline expired, the company insists that these tasks be carried out by male and female drivers, despite the fact that this exceeds the description of tasks in our Collective Bargaining Agreement and with the risk that it implies.”
