According to information provided by the Departmental Board, the day was attended by Senator Charles Carreras, as well as Ignacio Bardesía, the candidates for mayor of Colonia, Carlos Fernández and Nicolás Viera, and members of the Departmental Executive. “This day became a space for reflection and strengthening of unity within the Broad Front, where commitments were renewed and ideas were shared in view of the electoral campaign.”
He added that “the meeting was an opportunity to recharge our batteries and prepare the ground for the October campaign, where the Frente Amplio will seek to explain to citizens the reasons for supporting our political force in the upcoming elections.”
