A total of 273 Venezuelan migrants returned to the country this Wednesday, January 28, on a repatriation flight from Arizona, United States, the Ministry of the Interior and Justice reported through its account in Instagram.
232 men, 40 women and one minor were deported. The US agreed with Venezuela on a plan to return citizens who had entered that nation irregularly.

This flight is number 104 since the beginning of last year, which was maintained even amid the tensions.
Since last January 3, when US military forces captured Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores, this is the sixth flight with deported migrants that has landed in the country.
According to figures from national authorities, in 2025 more than 14,000 people returned to the country from the United States, a number that has not been updated this year.
