He believed that everything would go perfect but a cyclist surprised him.

A story marked by deception, violence and an obsession with control ended up crumbling with a seemingly insignificant act: the transfer of a bloody suitcase in the center of England. Yostin Andrés Mosquera, Colombian cinema actor from 35 -year -old adults and ex -military, was found guilty of the murder of two men in London, in a case that has shuddered both the United Kingdom and Colombia.
The events occurred on July 8, 2024 at a residence in the Shepherd’s Bush neighborhood, in the West London.
The victims were Albert Alfonso, 62, and Paul Longworth, 71, two men with whom Mosquera had held sexual encounters in exchange for money.
The initial connection with Alfonso arose through a content platform for adults, in which the Colombian offered intimate services during his periodic trips to the United Kingdom.
Meticulously executed murders
The investigation revealed that Mosquera did not act impulsively. Before the homicides, he made internet searches on how to kill with a hammer, what was the most lethal blow in the head and how long it took a body to break down.
Paul Longworth was his first victim. Security cameras show how the aggressor carefully closed the curtains before attacking it with a hammer.
Hours later, Albert Alfonso ran the same fate. Both bodies were beheaded and dismembered. To contain the remains, Mosquera bought a freezer, where he kept them before moving them in suitcases.
However, it was precisely that attempt to disappear the evidence that gave it away.
The error that ruined everything
On the night of July 10, in Bristol – more than 170 kilometers from the crime place – a cyclist watched a man dragging a heavy suitcase and with spots that looked like blood on the Cliftton Suspension bridge. The stranger, dressed in black and with a hat, tried to justify the spots claiming that they were of automobile oil, but his suspicious attitude was recorded. The cyclist alerted the authorities.
Mosquera fled, but three days later, on July 13, he was captured near the Bristol Temple Meads station. He still wore a blood stained shirt. Inside the suitcases were the human remains of their victims.
For detective Inspector Neil Meade, who led the case, Mosquera was close to achieving “the perfect murder.” “I didn’t need to dismember or take them to Bristol. But he did, and that was what gave him away,” he said.
A disturbing trial and an inevitable conviction
During the trial in the Criminal Court of Woolwich, Mosquera denied having killed both men, although he admitted to having killed Alfonso alleging “loss of control.” However, the evidence against him were devastating: explicit videos, online searches prior to crimes and their attempt to transfer 4,000 pounds from the bank accounts of the victims.
In addition to the freezer, the police found elements that confirmed premeditation, including costumes, special suitcases and electronic devices with traces of the acts. The trial was described by researchers as one of the most disturbing experiences they have faced in their careers.
Mosquera, who in Colombia had developed a career in the adult entertainment industry, maintained a low profile and frequently traveled to Europe. Their connection with the victims also included previous visits to Medellín, which reinforces the idea of a sustained, although unequal relationship, based on money and emotional control.
The final sentence will be known on October 24, and it is expected to be life imprisonment.
