A third of secondary school students have suffered harassment: Mejoredu

Three out of every 10 high school students in Mexico report that they suffer bullying occasionally or frequently at school, according to the National Commission for the Continuous Improvement of Education (Mejoredu), which indicated yesterday that at that school level it occurs. the greatest expressions of harassment among students.

The organization published the Survey on bullying among secondary school studentswhich reveals that the most common attacks reported by students are insults (95.9 percent) and teasing (88.2 percent).

Nearly nine in 10 also report false rumors being spread about them or offensive nicknames. Meanwhile, 76.9 percent have been hit or pushed violently and 72 percent have seen that due to harassment, other students do not interact with them or do not speak to them.
