Santo Domingo, DR. – The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) predicts a Sunday with some showers due to a trough and cool temperatures overnight.
According to Indomet, the high altitude trough continues over the country, combining its effects with the humidity transported by the east wind towards our territory, which is currently generating showers over the provinces of Hato Mayor, Samaná, El Seibo and María Trinidad Sánchez, which in the next few hours will move towards neighboring towns in Hermanas Mirabal, Espaillat and Puerto Plata, among other areas.
Meanwhile, after noon, the humidity content will decrease in the territory’s air mass, leading to a clear environment with scattered clouds in most provinces. Only isolated and passing showers are expected towards the southeast and the Central Mountain Range until the early hours of the night.
