A medium-sized suitcase caused a scare this Saturday night at the Expocruz fair. The luggage, which was left next to a garbage dump near the Argentine pavilion, caused a stir, because it was speculated that it could be an explosive device.

As soon as it became known, police officers cordoned off the place and prevented visitors from walking near the “mysterious” suitcase. The atmosphere became tense, even trained dogs were used to help detect the contents of the suitcase.

Minutes later it was learned that the suitcase did not contain any explosives and that it belonged to a visitor who had just arrived in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. He left her for a moment, without thinking that it would cause a stir among those attending the fair.

This Tuesday marks the second night of Expocruz 2022, the same one that will last until Sunday, September 25. The organizers expect to receive some 4,000 visits in the ten days that the international exhibition lasts, in which 22 countries participate.
