The Executive declared a State of Emergency for 60 days, in 44 districts of the country, including 7 in the Junín region, within the framework of the fight against terrorism. These are Mazamari, Pangoa, Vizcatán del Ene and Río Tambo in the province of Satipo, in the district of Andamarca in the province of Concepción and in the districts of Santo Domingo de Acobamba and Pariahuanca in the province of Huancayo.

Other districts in the country are: Ayahuanco, Santillana, Sivia, Llochegua, Canayre, Uchuraccay, Pucacolpa and Putis in the province of Huanta and in the districts of Anco, Ayna, Chungui, Santa Rosa, Samugari, Anchihuay, Rio Magdalena and Unión Progreso in the province of La Mar in the department of Ayacucho; in the districts of Huachocolpa, Surcubamba, Tintaypuncu, Roble, Andaymarca, Colcabamba, Cochabamba and Lambras in the province of Tayacaja and in the districts of Chinchihuasi, Pachamarca and San Pedro de Coris in the province of Churcampa, in the department of Huancavelica; in the districts of Kimbiri, Pichari, Villa Kintiarina, Villa Virgen, Echarate, Megantoni, Kumpirushiato, Cielo Punco, Manitea, Unión Ashaninka and in the Yuveni Population Center of the district of Vilcabamba, of the province of La Convención, of the department of Cusco .

The Armed Forces may carry out military operations and actions within the area of responsibility of the VRAEM Special Command (CE-VRAEM), the State of Emergency ends on February 10, 2023.
