The men died instantly, while the woman was injured with three gunshot wounds, who was treated by paramedics and taken to a hospital for medical attention.

The agency added that according to information obtained after a search in the internal information system, the 39-year-old deceased had registered six admissions to the Mexico City Penitentiary System, for different crimes. On two occasions in 2005 and the others in 2012, 2017, 2019 and 2021.
The authorities reported that the video recordings of the C5 cameras near the scene of the events have already been requested for analysis and follow-up of the case.
It is the second shooting that has occurred in less than a week in this same demarcation. On January 28, a shooting confrontation between those suspected of being involved in a murder and elements of the Ministry of Citizen Security left two civilians and two police officers dead.
The Secretary of Security, Omar García Harfuch reported on January 31 that the deceased in this case were members of a criminal cell dedicated to drug dealing in the El Rosario area and links with La Unión de Tepito are not ruled out.
