A shipment of methamphetamine was seized in the Port of Montevideo

The communication director of the Attorney General of the Nation, Javier Benech, reported that yesterday, 43 kilos of methamphetamine were seized in the Port of Montevideo.

It was indicated that the drug shipment was on a ship that came from Belgium to Paraguay. The synthetic drug came inside a truck, which was seized, while the boat was released.

According to Diario la R, the crew was questioned but no one has been detained so far. The information is primary and further progress on this fact is awaited.
