Sixty cell phones of different brands and a tablet were seized after an operation by Grupo Terna in a commercial establishment in the Gregorio Albarracín district in the city of Tacna.

Of the mobile communication equipment, a dozen were the product of theft and loss, as reported by their owners to Osiptel, for which a woman in charge of the store was arrested for investigations for the alleged crime of reception.
In the place called “Emmanuel”
Terna Group personnel under the command of Major PNP Joel Zavala Carrillo carried out an operation at 6:45 p.m., aimed at stores dedicated to the sale of cell phones of dubious origin, so the agents entered the “Emmanuel” store, in the association Los Claveles, Los Escritores avenue, block 43, lot 20.

Second-use cell phones were displayed in said store, so suspecting that it was involved in some illicit activity, the police intervened Sara Ninaja Mamani (35); Likewise, the exhibition for the sale of 60 cell phones and a tablet was verified.
Woman arrested for “reception”
After crossing information with Osiptel, it was established that seven computers had been reported as stolen and three cell phones as lost, for which Ninaja was arrested, by order of the prosecutor Iris León Bravo.
The rest of the equipment and the tablet were also immobilized, since the person in charge of the business did not support the origin with documents.
The woman and seized devices were transferred to the Gregorio Albarracín police station for investigations.
