“The two pilots were killed,” he added, noting that “none of the local inhabitants were injured,” the AFP news agency reported.
According to the local antenna of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the device crashed into a private two-story wooden house, causing a fire on an area of 200 square meters.
At least a dozen firefighters were throwing water at the partially destroyed house, according to a video published by Kobzev.
“Fortunately, there was no one in the house” at the time of the accident, said the local antenna of the Ministry of Emergency.
For its part, the Russian Investigation Committee, in charge of the main investigations in the country, announced the opening of investigations for “violation of the rules of security and operation of air transport.”
