A Russian military aircraft model Su-34 has crashed on Monday against a nine-story residential building in the Russian city of Yeisk, in the extreme southwest of Russia and on the shores of the Azov Sea.
According to the Russian news agency TASS, at the moment no deaths or injuries have been confirmed, although the entire building is on fire from the base to the roof.
For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed the accident and has detailed that the crew on board the fighter has managed to eject on time.
Likewise, the Russian Defense portfolio has advanced that the main cause of the accident could have been the failure of one of the aircraft’s engines during takeoff.
