A police officer was shot dead inside a gas station

An inspector of the Bolivarian National Police was riddled with firearms at the Yaracuy gas station, located in El Palito (Carabobo), according to reports.

The fatal victim is identified as Robert José Lugo Ortiz, 37 years old, who arrived at the aforementioned service station in the morning hours of this Thursday to fill up a Machito vehicle with gasoline.

Once on the island, motorcyclists arrived and shot Robert José several times, who died on the spot. CICPC commissioners went to the scene, removed the body and took it to the morgue of the Adolfo Prince Lara hospital, located in Puerto Cabello (Carabobo).

In another incident, two bodies were found this Wednesday in Las Veritas, Sucre municipality (Bobures), Gibraltar parish, Zulia state.

Initial reports indicate that a seven-year-old boy and a man were killed in a gun attack that also left a woman injured. Two people have been arrested for the incident, according to reports.
