A police officer denounces Fujimori legislator Héctor Ventura for assault

Petty officer Santos Ramírez Cabanillas denounced the Fujimori legislator today Hector Ventura for causing an injury to his right foot after receiving a kick while he was guarding the vicinity of the Congress of the Republic.

“The same man who, with the windows of the vehicle down and being in it, shouted energetically “we are at war” and wanted him to open the gate so he could get out,” Ramírez declared before the authorities of the San Andrés Police Station.

“Being responsible for the post and having the red traffic light at the intersection, I did not open the gate immediately, so the congressman got out of the vehicle and without saying a word to me, kicked me in the right foot, causing an injury,” he stressed. .

The legal medical report proves that the complainant records a wound to the right ankle “caused by a hard blunt agent.” “It shows traces of recent traumatic injuries due to the injuries described,” the report concludes.

The petty officer added that the citizen Silvia Miranda Flores witnessed the attack and is willing to give her testimony about the event.

DENIES ASSAULT

Peru21 Parliamentarian Héctor Ventura was contacted, who acknowledged the altercation, but denied that he had physically assaulted Santos Ramírez Cabanillas.

“The truth is that I scolded (the petty officer) why he didn’t open the door quickly, because we had an emergency to get out, but then the traffic light changed to red and we had to stop all gears because we couldn’t pass in Abancay, then I got on the car, the guy hurled an insult at me that I didn’t respond to, and nothing else, that was it,” said the president of the Oversight Commission.

Asked about the kick that he would have thrown at the order cash, Ventura said that “no” he acted in that way.

“If he says that I sent him a kick, he will have to prove that, and if there is a witness, that witness will have to say it, my version is that there was nothing more than an incident of crossing words,” he insisted.

Ventura’s predicament, he said, was that he had to attend a meeting at the Ministry of Housing. “Beyond that domestic fact, I did not assault him verbally or physically,” he asserted.
