The investigation revealed that these sexual assaults occurred during the last year and were brought to the attention of the authorities, by the relatives of the affected women, with the purpose of clarifying the facts.

The Prosecutor’s Office pointed out that after carrying out different investigative acts and obtaining abundant evidence, the officials of the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office managed to capture Pérez Castro at a time when he was in a building in the town of Fontibón, in the west of the city.
