Cuba identified just one new case of COVID-19 this Wednesday, according to the part of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) published today.
The infected was detected in a man whose age ranges between 40 and 59 years. His residence corresponds to the Isla de la Juventud Special Municipality.
In total, 27 people were hospitalized for this disease at midnight on Tuesday. In 21 there were only suspicions that they had been infected by SARS-CoV-2, while six were confirmed active cases.

The Minsap did not report bedridden in intensive care and reported that medical discharges were not granted either.
The fatalities due to this pandemic remain at 8,530, for which the lethality is 0.77% in Cuba.
For the control of this disease, the development of five national formulas has been decisive: Soberana 01, Soberana 02, Soberana Plus, Abdala and Mambisa.
Some of these drugs have also been authorized by the health regulatory entities of Vietnam, Iran, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Mexico, among other nations.
